Red Cherry shrimp or RCS are a breed of shrimp known as Neocaridina denticulata sinensis. Red Cherry shrimp exist in many colors in the wild but in the aquarium red is by far the most popular strain and this is attributed to their name. The bright red color is a result of years of selective breeding. The red cherry shrimp really stands out in the aquarium especially against plants and darker substrates.
Red Cherry shrimp are extremely hardy and condition tolerant when compared to other varieties of shrimp. This makes them an excellent beginner shrimp. They are easy to breed, maintain and they will naturally hide from predators.

Just kept on dying check my water parameters and were fine won't be buying shrimp again and wasting 200 dollars instead I will buy rainbow sharks:)
Ordered 10 RCS, 5 Yellow and a shrimper pack.
All arrived 2 days later, very well packed and all shrimp made the journey. Nice mix of sizes.
Most started to colour within the hour of being in their new home.
Would highly recommend ABQUATICS
Ordered 24 shrimp and got a few extras. Was originally worried as they were all completely grey on arrival but after a couple weeks they have coloured up extremely well. A few higher grade fire red in the mix as well with at least all shrimp a nice red.
Well I can’t find them 😂
Delivery arrived within 3 days, only 1 death out of 15 shrimp ordered. They had lost colour but their red came back pretty fast after being put in the tank. Very excited!
