Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo' comes from Argentina. It has compact, round and fresh light green leaves on creeping stalks and creates a fast-growing carpet in the front of the aquarium. The plant can grow in light shadow, but requires good light conditions, as well as CO2 additive, in order to develop optimally and become really compact
I seem to have received a dying pot of monte carlo. Assuming the supplier knew what they were doing, I got a really poor quality pot. There was already a die off in some of the leaves and you can tell as it wasn't a bushy lush green pot, it was more closed off and slowly dying. Didn't expect to receive such a bad quality pot cos all of the reviews seemed to be good. Wasn't worth fighting over a pot as everything else in my order was superb to say none the less. I got some lilaeopsis that was lush and in great condition, as well as 20 shrimps that are thriving in my tank. Will still be shopping here for sure although I might have to be picky with the plants.
